Shree Ramkrishna Charitable Trust conducts training programs not only for ophthalmologists but also for Ophthalmic Technicians, Clinical assistants, Opticians, Overboard Supervisors, health care Administrators and school teachers in the development and execution of systematic and long-term eye care programs.

Our well-equipped hospitals & OPD’s Makhmali Talao Thane at Ghodbunder Road Thane and Seawoods centre provide best and affordable services to the all rich and poor with comprehensive support facilities.

Research

The research activities aim at finding new ways to reduce the burden of blindness. The collaboration with various communities and participation in unique activities helps to get connected with large network of eye hospitals. It provides ideal opportunities for conducting studies based on population, clinics, laboratory and aids in research of social and health systems. We also encourage and support eye care product development.

School Eye Check / Tie Ups with NGO like Lions club, Rotary club

Many school kids are facing different Eye problems like refractive errors, Vitamin A deficiency, Dry Eyes, weak Eye muscles/nerves, Squint Eyes, seasonal allergies like Conjunctivitis etc. Many times these Eye problems are not detected. The reason may be that the child does not complain about the Eye problem or the parents have financial issues to treat the child.

Shree Ramkrishna Charitable Trust allies with schools in areas where people belong to lower socio-economic strata. We organize free Eye check-up camps for Children in these schools where they are screened for all types of eye problems. Parents of Kids having Eye issues are counselled and guided about the case. Shrikrishna Charitable Trust provides treatment to these children at a very marginal cost or sometimes at no cost for minor eye problems.
